Heartsaver AED Adult/Child with Infant CPR
Course Description:
The Heartsaver AED with Pediatric CPR Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Pediatric CPR skills are especially useful to students who live or work in a setting where children are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims.
Certification Course Length: 4 hours
Renewal Course Length: 2 hours
Intended Audience:
Responders like security personnel, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, corporate employees, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other rescuers, and those who need or want to learn CPR and how to operate an AED.
Student Materials: Heartsaver with AED Manual. This manual can be purchased through GMEC online or over the phone with course.
