is a continuing education provider offering state of the art, up-to-date courses to California's Health Care Professionals. We offer our courses in a safe, professional, NO STRESS, hands-on environment with a deep commitment to educational excellence centered in the core values of nursing.

Genesis Medical Education Consultants is a privately owned and operated company offering courses approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses (BRN) and the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) and the American Heart Association (AHA) for certification and renewal courses.

Genesis currently has offices in Orange County (Brea) and Los Angeles County (Long Beach). Offices in San Francisco and Santa Barbara will be opening soon! Students who find it necessary to reserve a hotel room during their course at Genesis due to travel distance will receive additional discounts. Please call for details.

We cap our class attendance to maximize the quality of the course curriculum and provide a positive one-on-on experience with each instructor. It is recommended that you register for a class in as far in advance as possible to ensure a seat in the desired course. There is no cost to reschedule a course at Genesis to an alternative date.

We also extend an exclusive courtesy to all students to once again attend a course they have taken, at a later date, at no additional cost! We understand that many students benefit from the repetition of critical information, or when not using this information on a regular basis, how a reiteration of protocols and hands-on time can refresh that information base. This courtesy is for information purposes only and cannot be applied to the actual recertification of any class (normal price and return student discounts apply).

We offer a variety of continuing education courses including California State Certified:

- IV Therapy /Blood Withdrawal for LVNs Certification (36 CEHs)

- IV Therapy /Blood Withdrawal for RNs (20 CEHs)

 

American Heart Association Courses open to all qualified Healthcare Professionals:

- ACLS Certification - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CEHs available for RNs)

- ACLS Renewal - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CEHs available for RNs)

- PALS Certification- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (CEHs available for RNs)

- PALS Renewal - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (CEHs available for RNs)

- ACLS-Prep EKG Arrhythmia Interpretation and Pharmacology (CEHs available for RNs)

- BLS CPR with AED for Healthcare Professionals

- Heartsaver CPR with AED and First- Aid.

NOTE: You will receive all American Heart Association course cards on site, same day.

 

Additional Courses open to all qualified Healthcare Professionals:

- Wound Care Prevention Through Recognition and Assessment.

- Home Health Nursing Essentials

- Post Acute Care Essentials

- Introduction to Mechanical Ventilation Training in partnership with Montefino Ventilator Training.

 

Every course is taught in a safe, professional atmosphere to ensure those from all levels of healthcare, Doctor, LVN, RN, EMT, Paramedic and many others, will benefit from the informative learning experience that Genesis Medical Education Consultants provides.

Our experienced staff utilizes a variety of teaching methods to effectively communicate current theory as well as employing life-like teaching aids to better demonstrate practical technique. The technical aspects of these courses are comprehensivly emphasized in order to instill a greater degree of confidence in the work place.
